3. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 340 S Lemon Ave #4133, Walnut, CA 91789, USA. When the website is accessed, technical access data (including IP address, date and time, page accessed, browser type) is automatically processed, which is necessary for secure and stable operation. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a functional website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). A data processing agreement is in place with Vercel. As a transfer to the USA may occur, it is based on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

4. Cookies and consent

Our website uses only technically necessary cookies and – subject to your explicit consent – cookies or services for statistics and marketing. On your first visit, you can freely decide via our cookie banner which categories to allow. Your choice is stored in a cookie and can be changed or withdrawn at any time via the "Cookie" link in the footer. The legal basis for non-essential cookies is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR); for essential cookies it is our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

5. Contact and contact form

If you contact us via the contact form or by e-mail, we process the data you provide (name, e-mail address, optional phone number, subject and your message) to handle your request. Delivery is technically carried out via the Gmail e-mail service (Google) to our mailbox. The legal basis is the initiation or performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) or our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required and no legal retention obligations apply.

6. Google reCAPTCHA

To protect the contact form against misuse, we use Google reCAPTCHA v3 (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Technical data and usage behaviour are analysed to distinguish human from automated input. Use is based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR); a transfer to Google in the USA (Google LLC) may occur and is based on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Google's privacy policy applies.

7. Google Analytics 4

Subject to your consent, we use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to statistically evaluate the use of the website. The IP address is processed by Google in a shortened/anonymised form. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). A transfer to Google LLC in the USA may occur (safeguarded by EU Standard Contractual Clauses). You can withdraw your consent at any time via the cookie settings.

8. Google Tag Manager

To manage the tags used, we use Google Tag Manager by Google Ireland Limited. The Tag Manager itself does not set cookies and does not collect personal data; it is used solely to control services that are only executed after your consent.

9. Meta Pixel (Facebook)

Subject to your consent, we use the Meta Pixel by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland, to measure website activity for marketing and reach purposes. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). A transfer to Meta Platforms, Inc. in the USA may occur (safeguarded by EU Standard Contractual Clauses). Further information can be found in Meta's privacy policy.

10. Fonts

Fonts are served locally from our server. No connection to external providers is established and no personal data is transferred to third parties.

11. Storage period

We process personal data only for as long as necessary for the stated purposes or as required by statutory retention periods. The data is then deleted.

12. Right to lodge a complaint

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Austria this is the Austrian Data Protection Authority, Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, www.dsb.gv.at.
